Free network documentation service agreement — DTVSOL Network

This agreement is made between DTVSOL ("the Provider") and the company that registers on dtvsol.network ("the Operator"), represented by the person who completes the registration. By ticking the acceptance box and creating the account, the Operator accepts this agreement electronically. As evidence, the Provider stores the date, time, IP address, name and e-mail of the signer and the fingerprint (SHA-256) of this text.

1. Purpose

The Provider gives the Operator access to the DTVSOL Network platform to document its fibre-optic network: maps, poles, boxes, splice closures, cables, splitters, OLTs, customers, splice diagrams, optical tracing, data import and export, and team management.

2. Free forever

The map service is 100% free with no time limit. The Provider charges the Operator no fee, licence, subscription or usage charge for the network documentation features, now or in the future, as long as the Operator complies with this agreement. No payment details are requested.

3. Data ownership

All data the Operator uploads or creates on the platform is and remains the Operator's. The Provider does not sell or transfer it and does not use it for any purpose other than providing the service. The Operator can export its data at any time in open formats (KML and others as published).

4. Migration

The Operator may bring in data it holds in other systems (KML/KMZ and the importers the Provider publishes). The Provider may help with migration at no cost.

5. Operator's obligations

The Operator undertakes to give true registration data, to keep its users' passwords safe, to use the platform only to document telecommunication networks lawfully, and not to try to access other operators' data or disrupt the service.

6. Availability and support

The Provider makes reasonable efforts to keep the service available and backed up, without guaranteeing a specific availability level. Support is given through the channels the Provider publishes.

7. Liability

The platform is a documentation tool. The power and loss values it calculates are estimates; the Operator must verify them with field measurements. The Provider is not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the platform.

8. Term and termination

The agreement has no end date. The Operator may terminate it at any time and ask for its data to be deleted. The Provider may suspend an account only for serious breach of clause 5, with notice to the Operator. Should the Provider stop the service, it will give at least 90 days' notice so the Operator can export its data.

9. Changes

If this agreement changes, the new version will be published at dtvsol.network/terms and the Operator will be notified. No change may remove the free service of clause 2 or the data ownership of clause 3 for an Operator who has already accepted this agreement.
